Vanilla Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

Please find below the ingredients you need for the sponge cake of the cake,

5 eggs
1 cup (tea) sugar
180 gr. butter
2 cups (tea) flour

Please find below the ingredients you need for the syrup and the cream mixture,

200 gr. sugar
200 gr. water
60 gr. brandy
350 gr. bitter chocolate
300 gr. sour cream
500 gr. whipped cream
Chocolate truffle
Sugar roses

Execution

Preheat the oven at 175 degrees. Beat the butter with the sugar adding the eggs one at a time. Continue beating and add the flour also in order to get the sponge cake mixture. Cover a cooking form pan with some butter, fill it with the mixture and bake it about 40-45 minutes. Use a knife to slice horizontally the sponge cake into three oval shaped sheets. Then use a deep pan to boil the sugar the water and the brandy about 2 minutes and let it rest for a while, that’s the syrup. For the cream mixture fill a deep pan with the sour cream and put in on the fire until it starts to boil, then pour the cream into a bowl with the bitter chocolate and start mixing. Finally add the whipped cream just after the mixture is cold.

Use a cooking form and place the first sponge cake sheet within, pour some syrup all over, fill some of the cream mixture, repeat it for the other two sheets as well. Cover the cake with the whipped cream. Finally decorate with roses and the truffle and the birthday cake is ready to show.
