Homemade Plum and Apple Jam

One of my favorite fruit in the Autumn is the plum, so what about for a delicious jam. An easy to cook and tasty homemade jam which can be used as ingredient in a lot of recipes in pastry like cakes, pasta flora and cheesecakes. So what you waiting for, put your apron on and use your imagination for a great result.

Homemade Plum and Apple Jam

Ingredients

For the plum and apple jam, you need the ingredients below,

1 kg. plums
2 green apples
600 gr. sugar
Some lemon juice
1/2 glass of water

Execution

Slice the plums and the apples in quarters and peel them. Then use a deep pot filled with water and lemon juice and put them in to rest. Then grate each quarter using a veggies grater. Use another pot in order to boil the grated fruits with the sugar and the 1/2 glass of water. Boil them about 30 minutes.

Finally add the lemon juice and continue boil until the jam is ready. Seal the jam into small jars of your choice and turn them upside down for some time before use. That’s it the vanilla plum apple jam is ready and last for a year.
