Homemade Pomegranate Cake

One of our favorite desserts are definitely cakes although a simple and classic recipe, some minor variations can always give a complete different result both in taste and food styling. So today’s recipe is a pomegranate cake.

A classic cake flavored with the juice of pomegranate seeds, a perfect choice for the breakfast. So what are you waiting for, sleeves up and use your talent and imagination for a great result in order to impress both family and friends.

Homemade Pomegranate Cake


Please find below all the ingredients you need for the pomegranate cake,

500 gr. flour for cakes
400 gr. sugar
4 eggs
250 gr. butter
240 gr. pomegranate juice
caster sugar


Preheat the oven up to 175 degrees in the air. Beat butter with sugar adding the eggs one at a time. Add the vanilla, the salt into the mixture. Then add the flour with the pomegranate juice in small doses one at a time mixing well.

Put the final mixture into the form and bake for 1 hour. Remove the cake from the oven and let it rest for some time in order to get cool. Pour some caster sugar and optionally end with some cherries for decoration. That’s it the pomegranate cake is ready to taste.
